Leah Lawson M.S., CCC-SLP
Leah Lawson has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings including schools, skilled nursing, and continuing care retirement communities for 18 years. Leah graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Deaf Education from The University of Southern Mississippi.
She then moved to Virginia where she obtained her Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has a passion for swallowing and cognitive disorders. She is PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and ESP (Ampcare Effective Swallowing Protocol) trained.
She brings her dedication and passion to her career, as well as her family and church of which she is an active member, serving in the nursery and with the teens and young adults. When she is not serving others to better communicate, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
