Tara Selby MOT, OTR/L
Tara graduated from James Madison University in 2017 with a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Tara has worked with children of all ages in a variety of different settings, including as a summer camp counselor from 2012-2016. Tara has clinical and volunteer experience working in several pediatric outpatient settings, including JMU's Occupational Therapy clinic (OTCES) and Good Beginnings in Falls Church, Virginia. She has experience developing and implementing group programs addressing sensory processing and emotional regulation in both the private practice and school system settings. She also has clinical experience working with individuals with spinal cord injury, brain injury, orthopedic conditions, and neurological disorders in the adult inpatient rehabilitation setting. Tara is passionate about helping children become more functional and independent in their daily lives and she strives to engage children in meaningful and creative ways in her sessions to promote skill development. Tara currently works in the Waynesboro location.
